Disable Web Cookies

All Browsers give this option because a number of sites such as Yahoo!Mail require that these land on your system to allow you to log in.For instance, If your homepage is MyYahoo!, you'll need the Cookies to tell yahoo.com what preferences (Colors,Content,Layout) you set during the sign-up.
Advertisers gain the most from Cookies.Marketing firms such as Adsence use Cookies to Check what banner ads have you seen on your screen. Corporations and marketing people have earned a bad reputation for "Tracking user information" and keeping a log on surfers.Internet privacy experts label Cookies as Dangerous as Snoopy; you should delete Cookies at least once a month to free disk space and leave out traces of where have you been on the internet.Have a look at the Microsoft Page on managing and deleting cookies.Keep your history Clean on the Net.

Web Cookies

So what is exactly Web cookies? If you look into the many yellow colored folders that sit on your C drive, you'll see the one call windows which carries files for your operating system.Among the folders and files inside Windows, is one called Cookies.Sounds Yummy? But instead of raisins and chocolate chips, the Cookies folder contains dozens, maybe hundreds, of white colored text files that say 'yourusername@website name.txt'.
So you wonder, "Hey, i don't remember saving anything in this folder!" What is this mess and how did it get on my Computer? There's an easy way to find out.Run an anti_virus Scan on your Cookies folder first (Right-Click and then Scan for Viruses). Next, click on the .txt files. When you do, you will see a series of numbers and letters like this: c2_popup_cookie49care2.come/1523986421231879965* These figures are called name-value pairs whose function is to serve  as an identity number for your computer.Every time you go back to website, the server (machine hosting the site) will recognize your visit as a second, third, fourth, ect trip.
Most websites store cookies on your system this way. When you surf the Internet using any of these Browsers
(Chrome,FireFox ,Internet ExplorerSafariOpera), you start journey in Cyberspace.Once you enter a website, your Browser starts loading text and data from the server. As the Site opens on your screen, it also place a text file in the Cookies folder with the ID number which later helps recognize your Computer.Cookies thus tell the site creators who their visitors are, what software and hardware they might be using and, of course, judge how popular their site is.
Almost all websites are interested in storing Cookies on your computer. Some cookies expires as soon as you go to another website while others stay in the yellow folder. If any one gain access to your C drive, they can easily find out where you surf once they take a peek inside.Do not rush and Disable Cookies

Why C Drive is C Drive?

In computers, active storage drives are automatically assigned a drive letter, beginning with the letter A. The DOS operating system followed the drive letter with a colon, as in A: . Prior to flash memory devices, computers incorporated floppy disk drives for portable storage, so the A and B drive letters were preserved by the system to be assigned to these devices. This left C as the first letter available for the hard disk. So it is that the hard disk became known as the C: drive.
In days past hard disks were small enough that they were not divided into partitions, so a single drive letter was all that was required. The operating system was always installed on the C: drive and virtually all instructions for software and device drivers also referred to the C: drive. Today it’s a different story.

What is Hard Disk?

A hard disk is a metal plate with magnetic surfaces. It is a component of a disk drive. The hard drive equipment reads from and writes to the surface of the hard disk. These hard drives are a common part of either Macintosh or PC computers, as well as other large devices that include data storage.
In a hard drive, an actuator arm assembly locates platter cylinders for reading from and writing to the disk. Read and write heads act as the agents for these functions. The total assembly fits into a rectangular metal container. In traditional computing, the hard disk was the internal structure for storing data in a workstation or personal computer. External disks were called “floppy disks” because they had soft internal media instead of a hard disk. The emergence of new types of drives has made floppy disk technology largely obsolete.Hard drives are getting competition from other new technologies. One of these is the flash drive. A flash drive is not a hard disk drive, but a solid state drive, where a new form of data storage replaces the circular hard disk technology. The hard drive and the solid state drive often share the same USB (Universal Serial Bus) connections to the computer, but the way data is recorded and stored is different.

Less and Less Paper

People who work in offices will be and are being the first to feel the effect of the computer revolution. These lightings fast machines are taking over in all kinds of ways.
When you walk into most offices, what is the first thing you will see? Almost certainly it will be paper in typewriters, on desks, in filing cabinets, on drawing boards and on bookshelves.
Walk into an up-to-date high technology office, however, and the last thing you will discover is paper.Desks have become work stations equipped with microcomputers, their keyboards and visual display units.Computers have taken the place of the old fashioned electric machines.
The big revolution that first computers and then micro-processors have brought about is this: they have separated  figures and words from paper Records of all kinds are vital in business and industry. You have to keep a record of agreements you have made, the salaries you pay people, the sales you achieve. And there is a need to keep account how well or badly your business is doing. Now you can keep your all data safe even using less paper and accessing to these records is much easier then the old days.
